Day-by-day itinerary
Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to Villa Rosa Kempinski for overnight.
Villa Rosa KempinskiMorning flight to Meru Airstrip. Transfer to Offbeat Meru Camp in the Bisanadi Reserve. Day 3: game drive at first light, guided walk, visit to the Rhino Sanctuary (60 black and white rhino), evening fishing in the rivers. Day 4: full day to the Tana River — game drive with packed lunch, stop at Elsa the lioness's grave, visit to the Boran Cultural Centre.
Offbeat Meru CampDrive to Sosian Ranch — a 24,000-acre private working ranch. Afternoon: horseback or camel ride. Night safari with spotlights searching for leopard, aardvark, genet and serval. Day 6: game drive on the open plains, brunch under an acacia, evening bush dinner under the stars.
Sosian RanchFlight to the Masai Mara. Three days in the Mara North Conservancy in custom Land Cruisers — big cat sightings are very high. Day 8: head to the Mara River crossing points. Day 9: Masai village visit, final game drive with sundowner, farewell dinner.
Offbeat Mara CampFinal scheduled flight back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi.
